I'm currently an advisory committee member at The Waring School, my old high school. I've loved reconnecting with what to me was a very special place and to others might look like a bit of an odd place—with small classes, no grades, and calling professors by their first names, it's certainly unconventional! It definitely shaped my creative approach by being constantly curious, not afraid to fail, learn, and go again even better. I'm now bringing my creative capabilities into my volunteering by designing the inaugural issue of the Waring School's Alumni magazine.
The magazine was sent out to the community—past, present, and future and is currently being used as part of the recruitment effort for new students and new parents with the recruitment board.
